Line-up (by area) Hellbound – Hard as Hell; 20th Anniversary

With less than a month to go before the party is on in the Westerunie in Amsterdam, Multigroove proudly presents the bloodcurdling line-up for Hellbound – Hard as Hell; 20th Anniversay. In three areas, 12 hours non-stop, Hellbound will show her true face; unrelenting and uncompromising, during which all facets of the Hardcore spectrum will be touched.

On June 24th, 1995 the first edition of Hellbound took place in the then already almost legendary Hemkade in Zaandam, where the ruthless concept reigned like a savage beast for over eight years. After the turn of the century, Hellbound made the move to bigger venues like the infamous Amsterdam Borchlandhal and Kardinge in Groningen, including spin-offs like Rebound and the Hellbound project “Partyraiser - One Man // Half Machine”. After Multigroove in 2012 proclaimed the "Hardcore Republic" with a deafening edition of Hellbound in Hemkade in Zaandam, they invaded Germany in 2013, conquering the Förderturm in Bönen with their brothers in arms from Ruhr ‘G’Beat.

It becomes clear when seeing the beastly line-up for this anniversary edition, that after all these years Hellbound stands strong, head bloody but unbowed. The Mainstage will be ram packed, representing 20 years of Hellbound Hardcore for 12 solid hours, from the Old School and Early Hardcore from the early 90s, via Millennium Hardcore till the Uptempo, Frenchcore and Terror of today. And you’d better prepare for this area, because the deafening and flawless sound system of the Westerunie leaves no prisoners when it comes to sound. The basement reveals the dark soul of Hellbound, with the sickest and hardest Darkcore, Early Terror and a whiff of Industrial from the deepest depths of the underground. And then of course there is the Westergasterras where you can chill, sit, lay down or freak and go bezerk on the pure Multi bangers from the years ’87-’92; just because we can and because this anniversary will be one big and unforgettable party.
